Good health starts with good immunity
A couple of colds or stomach flus a year is perfectly normal, but if it feels like you are constantly battling a bug then something may be wrong with your immune system. Similarly, if you have had frequent or serious infections like pneumonia, sinusitis, abscess, or meningitis you may have a weakened immune system.
The immune system’s job is to defend the body from infection. It protects against germs, bacteria, parasites, viruses and other toxins which are harmful to your health.
Good general health including a balanced diet, moderate exercise and staying up to date with recommended vaccinations will all help your immune system to function at its best. But sometimes there may be other reasons why your defences are down.
