How will I receive my pathology form?

If your pathology referral is approved by a doctor:

You will receive an SMS with a link. The link will take you to a webpage that contains a barcode.

Please show the barcode at any partner collection centre. Find a partner collection centre near you.

When your pathology results are ready, they can be viewed in your InstantScripts account or a doctor will request a follow-up consultation if necessary.

If you would prefer to use another pathology provider, you will need to download or print your pathology request form and bring it to the collection centre of your choice.

Can my digital pathology request form be taken to any pathology collection clinic?

Yes. InstantScripts’ pathology request forms are written by real, Australian-registered doctors and will be accepted at any clinic. 

How much does it cost?

There’s a $20 fee associated with obtaining a pathology request with InstantScripts. If you require a follow-up consultation with a doctor about your results you can request a telehealth consultation for $49.

How long will it take to get my results?

InstantScripts should receive your results within three to seven working days and we will notify you as soon as we receive them.

How is InstantScripts keeping my data secure?

All consultations and data are kept 100% confidential. 

Patient personal information is stored in secure cloud storage and encrypted in the database. All data is stored in Australian data centres.
